Film fans who are in Vienna, between October 25th and the 7th of November will be delighted to hear that the 50th edition of Viennale Film Festival is underway, this year being one of the most important in a long time.
Each year, the Viennale Festival takes over the theatres located in the historical city centre of Vienna, and this year’s edition is a special one, providing over 300 projections. The 2012 edition is set on unconventional cinema, mainly on short documentaries and experimental productions.
Of course, since this year is so special, a lot of world class actors will be present, one of them being the special guest star Michael Caine, as you know him very well from the recent The Dark Knight Rises. Having aside all the screenings, there will be other numerous events that will have free acces, such as the opening party, several concerts, photography exibitions, and much more.
